A review of 2022, an interesting year
Happy New Year🎉 Thank you to all the couples who I have had the pleasure of photographing this year.
It has been an interesting year, as you may know, I shot weddings as an associate for Southwest Photo & Film (Formally Lee Brewer Photography). Over the summer Southwest went bankrupt leaving hundreds of couples without photographers & videographers and also couples who had gotten married without the photos of their special day.
I like many others in the industry did what we could to make sure as many of the couples that lost out to the company still had their photos and their special day captured. As a professional photographer, all the images I take are backed up several times and are stored in my archive even once the files have been delivered, in this case, sent to the company so I was able to edit all the weddings I had shot and deliver the couples their photos. I even had a bride contact me who only had a handful of images from the company so was able to provide her with her full gallery (to which she was over the moon as the images were edited better than she had received – https://www.facebook.com/paulecclesphotography/posts/410774157708764 😁)
Here is a little slideshow with an image from each of the weddings I photographed through 2022, a mixture of weddings from Southwest Photo & Film and under my name – Paul Eccles Photography. The year took me to venues from The Lizard Peninsula to Bristol City Centre, in venues as varied as hotels, manor houses, leisure parks & golf clubs.
Looking forward to 2023 weddings
I will admit, that with working for Southwest Photo & Film, I had gotten a bit behind with advertising and working on my brand. So the end of the year has seen me completely redesign my website, update my advertising and generally put some effort into Paul Eccles Photography.
As such, I don’t have as many bookings as I can manage so if you are still looking for a photographer for your 2023 wedding (or 2024, 2025…) please get in touch
